Shipping

What shipping method is used?

We ship most orders via USPS, FedEx, or DHL depending on destination and package size. Within the United States, we offer:

  • Standard Shipping: $5.95 (FREE on orders over $50)
  • Express Shipping: $15

International orders are calculated at checkout based on live carrier rates.

How long will it take to receive my package?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days from our Honolulu store. After that:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days within the U.S.
  • Express Shipping: 1–3 business days within the U.S.
  • International: Varies by destination (typically 7–21 business days)

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your Phiten products. If you're not fully satisfied, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at info@phitenhawaii.com and we'll guide you through the return process. Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging. Certain items such as opened lotions and applied tapes are considered final sale for hygiene reasons.

I received a wrong item/color/size. What should I do?

We're sorry for the mix-up! Please email us at info@phitenhawaii.com within 7 days of receiving your order with your order number and a photo of the item received. We'll arrange a replacement or refund right away at no cost to you.

What do I do if I received an item with damaged/broken/missing parts?

If your item arrives damaged, broken, or with missing parts, please contact us within 7 days at info@phitenhawaii.com. Include your order number and photos of the damage or packaging. We'll send a replacement or issue a refund as quickly as possible.

Sales Tax

Why does Phiten Hawaii apply sales tax?

Because our retail store is physically located in Honolulu, Hawaii, we are required by state law to collect Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) on orders shipped within Hawaii. Orders shipped to other states are tax-free unless we have a sales tax obligation in that state.

Is Phiten safe for children or pregnant women?

Phiten products use Aqua-Titanium and Aqua-Metax technology, which is generally considered safe for everyday wear. However, we always recommend consulting your physician before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are purchasing for a young child. Children should be supervised when wearing necklaces or bracelets to avoid any choking hazard.

What is the difference between Titanium Discs and Titanium Tape?

Titanium Discs are small adhesive patches infused with Aqua-Titanium, designed to be placed on specific points of the body (joints, muscles, pressure points). They're discreet and can be reused over several days.

Titanium Tape is a flexible, breathable tape — available in pre-cut strips or rolls — that conforms to muscles and joints over a larger area. It's ideal for ongoing support during sports, work, or recovery.

Both deliver Phiten technology to the area applied; the choice comes down to coverage and convenience.

Can I wash my necklace or bracelet? If so, how?

Yes — most Phiten necklaces and bracelets are water-resistant and can be hand-washed. To clean:

  • Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap
  • Gently rub with your fingers (avoid harsh scrubbing)
  • Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft towel
  • Lay flat to air-dry completely before storing

Avoid bleach, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners. Do not machine wash or use a dryer.

Why is there a note stating the Titanium Necklace must not be worn in a bath or sauna?

Phiten Titanium Necklaces are water-resistant for everyday use (showering, swimming, sweating), but prolonged exposure to high heat — such as in a hot bath, sauna, or hot tub — can degrade the materials over time and shorten the product's lifespan. We recommend removing your necklace before extended hot-water or sauna use to keep it looking and performing its best.

Payment

What payment methods are available?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Meta Pay at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout.

I don't want to give my credit card information over the internet. What should I do?

We completely understand. You have a few options:

  • Call us at (808) 888-9639 to place your order by phone
  • Use PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay — these let you check out without entering your card number on our site
  • Visit our store at 801 Kaheka St, Honolulu, HI 96814 to shop in person

Either way, all transactions on our website are encrypted and processed through Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout — your card information is never stored on our servers.
